Palm Beach Staffing utilizes Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) to serve our clients.  We provide our clients with services tailored to their needs and may include four, six, eight, ten or twelve hour shifts as well live-ins.  Almost all of our work is private duty in the client’s home including both short and long term cases.

Working as a part of the Palm Beach Staffing team gives you the flexibility of working as an independent contractor, which allows you the option of accepting or declining any job offered.  Work availability is always based upon client demand but if you are a hard worker and enjoy helping those who need help there is always a place for you with our company.

Support is important in any job and at Palm Beach Staffing the support team for our independent contractors includes RN Clinical Supervisors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  When you call Palm Beach Staffing you will always speak with one of our staff and not with an answering service.  A staffing coordinator will answer your call and if necessary contact one of our nurse supervisors to help you deal with whatever your problem might be.  It is important to remember that our staff is there not only to serve our clients but to be a support for our caregivers as well.

Applications are taken every Tuesday and Thursday at promptly 1:30 p.m.  A brief orientation session is held each Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. and lasts for approximately one hour.  You must have a completed application file and have attended an orientation session to be eligible for work.  In the orientation session you are advised as to company policies, given a policy manual and you have the opportunity to ask questions.  An ID picture is also taken at this time.  Applications at other times are possible but must be set up by appointment.  You can call the Palm Beach Staffing Human Resources Department at 561-433-9666 to set up a time other than the normal times.  To start the application process you must come in person to our office at 1261 South Congress Avenue in West Palm Beach.  Application packages will not be mailed out nor may they be picked up and taken outside the office.  A list of the items that you must have with you in order to start the application process are listed below:

1.                   Current Driver’s License

2.                   Social Security Card

3.                   Current automobile insurance card

4.                   Proof of citizenship or appropriate documentation regarding your alien status

5.                   Current physical or health statement (Must be less than six months old)

6.                   Current PPD or chest x-ray (Must be less than six months old)

7.                   Current CPR card

8.                   Initial HIV class certification

9.                   Current HHA / CNA / RN / LPN license or certification

10.               Names and addresses of three employment references and three personal references, (six total references)

 Allow about an hour and thirty minutes to two hours for the application process.  In addition to the documents listed above you will have to fill out several pieces of paperwork and complete a pre-application test.  The HHA / CNA test is only ten questions and the RN / LPN test is a bit longer.  Either test should not be a problem for you because they cover only very basic subject matter.
